I am a Hovland native, lived here all my life.  I have loved nature and the outdoor activities all of my life.  I had some training in art when I was younger but a full time job with the postal service led me to photography rather than painting because I can pick up and go when I have the time.  I enjoy just going for walks in the woods with my dog, who you will see in a lot of my photos.  My current dog, Toby, is always ready to go.  Some dogs get excited when the shotgun comes out...and, Toby does.  However, the "camera season" is a lot longer & the camera means an adventure.  So, when my camera comes out, Toby is immediately cranked up and ready to go.
